STORYLINES
UNH has an 18-25 record against UAlbany, but the series is level at 5-5 the past five seasons with both teams recording one win each season. The road team has won each of the past four matchups. UNH has a 15-19 record against the Great Danes under head coach Bill Herrion, and that includes 9-6 at home.

Redshirt freshman guard Nick Johnson was named America East Rookie of the Week this past Tuesday (Jan. 19) for his play in a two-game sweep at previously AE-leading Stony Brook on Jan. 16-17. He joins teammate Blondeau Tchoukuiengo as a two-time recipient of the award. Johnson was previously feted Dec. 28.

UNH enters the weekend as the America East conference leader in rebounding (38.5 rpg) and offensive rebounding (11.4/game); the Wildcats rank second in rebound margin (+5.3) and third in defensive rebounding (27.2/game). UNH averages 11.5 turnovers per game -- that's lowest in the league.

In last Saturday's 81-64 win at Stony Brook, UNH recorded season highs for: field goal percentage in a half (63%; 17 of 27 in the 2nd H); points in a half (52, 2nd H); 3-pointers made (13); and 3-point field goal percentage (13-for-29, 44.8%).

Last weekend, Stony Brook entered the series against UNH undefeated in America East at 4-0, but the Wildcats went into Island Federal Arena and returned home with 81-64 and 67-64 victories. The Seawolves were also No. 2 in the conference in scoring with an average of 72.5 points per game.

Five of UNH's last seven games have been decided by less than a five point margin of victory.

New Hampshire has outscored the opponent in second chance points every game this season.
