Freshman alpine racer among 12 top Canadians skiing in Norway from March 5-14
NARVIK, Norway – Brianna Macdonald (Toronto, Ontario), a freshman alpine skier on the University of New Hampshire women's ski team, is representing Canada at the World Junior Championships (March 5-14) in Narvik, Norway.
Macdonald was selected among 12 athletes based on outlined criteria that includes World Junior Rankings and performance in NorAm Cup racing.

"This is a great achievement for Brianna to qualify as one of the best skiers her age in her country," UNH alpine head coach Brian Blank said. "We are very proud of her and look forward to hopefully have her at NCAAs next year."

The freshman earned points in the final three weekends of the EISA Carnival season, highlighted by season-best 11thplace finishes in giant slalom (Feb. 14) and slalom (Feb. 15) in the Williams Carnival at Jiminy Peak.
