CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The 16^th-ranked Harvard University field hockey team recorded a 5-0 victory against the University of New Hampshire at Berylson Field on Sunday afternoon.

UNH, which entered the game on a five-game winning streak, is now 5-4 and that includes 1-3 against nationally-ranked opponents. Harvard improved to 5-2.

Jemma Woods (Frimley, England) recorded seven saves and yielded four goals in 48 minutes, 54 seconds. Rachel Simkevich (Londonderry, N.H.) played the final 11:06 and was credited with two saves with one goal allowed.

Harvard's Ellie Shahbo and Callie Rennyson combined for the shutout. Shahbo made three saves in 50 minutes; Rennyson did not face a shot on goal in 10 minutes.

1^st QUARTER

UNH generated the first scoring chance of a game on a penalty corner in the third minute, but the shot off the stick of Bloem van den Brekel (Eindhoven, Netherlands) was wide of the cage.
In the seventh minute, van den Brekel was denied by Shahbo.
Harvard took a 1-0 lead on Mazarine Broze's goal at 7:59.

2^nd QUARTER

UNH once again generated an early corner, but this time the shot by Kayla Sliz (Ajax, Ontario) was blocked by a charging Crimson defender in the 17^th minute.
Woods kept the margin one goal with a save against Hannah Pearce in the 20^th minute.
Woods denied Bente van Vlijmen with 3:33 on the clock to once again keep the 'Cats within 1-0.

3^rd QUARTER

van Vlijmen and Maddie Earle scored goals 89 seconds apart (at 38:50 and 40:19) to quickly extend the advantage to 3-0.

4^th QUARTER

Rachel Greenwood (46:15) and Siofra Murdoch (50:19) closed out the scoring.
