Wildcats Battle Crusaders Sunday Afternoon (2:30 PM, NESN)

UNH begins final countdown before conference play begins.

Sunday, Dec. 22 – 2:30 P.M. – Hart Center, Worcester, Mass. – NESN
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team continues its December/January road trip as the Wildcats take on the Holy Cross Crusaders this Sunday, December 22 at 2:30 P.M. on NESN.
UNH will then have a week off before facing Ivy League foe Princeton the following Sunday, December 29. The Wildcats begin America East conference play the following Thursday, January 2 when they travel to UMass Lowell for a 7 P.M. matchup.
New Hampshire returns home for conference play on Sunday, January 5, hosting the Hartford Hawks in Lundholm Gymnasium at 1 P.M. For tickets for the conference schedule this coming January and February, visit UNHWildcats.com/tickets or call (603)862-4000.

LAST TIME OUT:
- The Wildcats fell to the Dartmouth Big Green in the Granite State showdown this past Wednesday evening by a score of 66-47.
- Senior Ashley Storey
- Junior guard Amanda Torres (Hudson, N.H.) tallied 10 points with a team-high four assists. Both Storey and Torres shot 5-of-13 from the field.
- The Wildcats never led in the contest but outscored the Big Green 20-14 in the third quarter to try and rally back into the game, but Dartmouth pulled away once again in the fourth.
ABOUT HOLY CROSS:
- The Crusaders (Worcester, Mass.) are coming off a 65-52 victory at Sacred Heart last Saturday, December 14.
- Holy Cross is a perfect 3-0 at home this season.
- The Crusaders lead the nation in three-point percentage (45.8%).
- All-time, UNH holds a 9-15 record against the Crusaders, and Holy Cross leads 3-2 in the last five meetings.
- UNH is currently on a two game winning streak in the series; last season the two teams met for the first time in six years; UNH took a home victory by a score of 74-62.
