LAST TIME OUT:
- New Hampshire opened up the season at #2 Baylor University, on the night where they dropped their 2018-19 NCAA Championship banner.
- Junior Amanda Torres (Hudson, N.H.) led the way for the Wildcats with a team-high 12 points, shooting 7-of-10 from the free throw line. Her seven free throws made tied a career high.
- Sophomore Ivy Gogolin (Hopkintin, Mass.), junior Maggie Ahearn (Marshfield, Mass.), and freshman Sam Gallo (Northford, Conn.) all hauled in a team-high four boards; Ahearn also tallied a block, two assists, and three steals against the Lady Bears.
ABOUT BRYANT:
- The Bulldogs (Smithfield, R.I.) are coming off a season-opening road victory over Providence-area rival Brown, 45-44. Saturday's matchup will be Bryant's home opener.
- Bryant holds a 4-3 advantage in the all-time series, but all three of New Hampshire's wins have come in the last three meetings, with the Wildcats taking a home victory last season by a score of 79-74.
- The Bulldogs are coming off an 11-19 season, going an even 9-9 in NEC play, falling to Saint Francis in the NEC quarterfinals.
