Wildcats Host Brown Bears Sunday (1 P.M.)

Wildcats looking to ride momentum in the middle of a homestand.
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team continues its streak of home games as the Wildcats welcome the Brown Bears to Lundholm Gym this Sunday, November 24. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 P.M. on AmericaEast.TV
The Wildcats are riding a 89-44 victory over Wheaton College this past Wednesday in Lundholm, and are looking to improve on their 2-3 overall record and 1-1 home record.
HOME SWEET LUNDHOLM
Sunday's game against Brown will feature UNH's summer camp attendees returning for halftime competitions and a post-game autograph session! The following Sunday against NDSU will feature an Ugly Sweater promotion; all fans wearing an ugly sweater can receive free hot cocoa from the concession stand as the holiday season ramps up in December! The final home game of the semester against CCSU is AAU Day will feature another post-game autograph session!

LAST TIME OUT:
- The Wildcats got out to an early lead against Wheaton College on Wednesday night and never looked back.
- Freshman Sam Gallo (Northford, Conn.) tallied 19 points and 11 rebounds for UNH's first double-double of the season. She missed just one shot on the night for 9-of-10 shooting along with two assists and two steals.
- Sophomore Kali Grimm (Norwood Young America, Minn.) was another spark off the bench for the Wildcats, tying her career high of 15 points off 4-7 shooting, 2-4 from behind the arc, 5-5 at the free throw line, and a steal and assist.
- Senior Caroline Soucy (Beverly, Mass.) tallied 10 points and grabbed seven rebounds in just 15 minutes on the floor. Soucy also had an assists and two steals, and shot 2-3 from behind the three-point line.
- The final 10+ point Wildcat was freshman Brooke Kane (Derry, N.H.) with 10 points; she hit a three-pointer in the third quarter and went 3-3 at the charity stripe. Kane also tallied one assist, one steal, and one block.
ABOUT BROWN:
- The Bears (Providence, R.I.) are coming into the weekend off a tough mid-week road loss to UMass, 95-42.
- Brown is 1-2 in road games so far this season.
- Last year the Wildcats fell to the Bears 76-70 in Providence last November. It was UNH's third straight road game to open the season.
