UNH Starts Three-Game Home Stand Hosting Wheaton College (Wed, 6 PM)

New Hampshire plays four of its next five games in Lundholm Gym.

Wednesday, Nov. 20 – Lundholm Gymnasium – Durham, N.H. – AmericaEast.TV
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team begins a three game home stand, as the Wildcats welcome the Wheaton College Lyons to Lundholm Gymnasium this Wednesday, November 20th. The Wildcats face the Lyons in the first ever meeting of the two programs with a 6 P.M. tip-off on AmericEast.TV
The Wildcats end the fall semester with four of their next five games taking place in Lundholm, also hosting Brown this Sunday, November 24, North Dakota State on Sunday, December 1, and Central Connecticut on Sunday, December 8.
HOME SWEET LUNDHOLM
The home schedule for the end of the 2019 calendar year features three special promotions for fan's in attendance; Wednesday's game against Wheaton is Pediatric Cancer Awareness night, with a signed jersey raffle and a chuck-a-ball promotion at halftime, with all proceeds from purchasing said balls going towards UNH women's basketball's fund for Lace Up 4 Pediatric Cancer.
Sunday's game against Brown will feature UNH's summer camp attendees returning for halftime competitions and a post-game autograph session! The following Sunday against NDSU will feature an Ugly Sweater promotion; all fans wearing an ugly sweater can receive free hot cocoa from the concession stand as the holiday season ramps up in December! The final home game of the semester against CCSU is AAU Day will feature another post-game autograph session!

LAST TIME OUT:
- The Wildcats faced off with the Merrimack Warriors for the first time in each program's history.
- A back and forth game saw nine ties and eight lead changes with Merrimack eventually coming out on top in the fourth quarter.
- The Wildcats were led by senior Ashley Storey (Cumberland, Maine) posting her second-straight 20-point performance with 21 points, for an average of 22.5 points per game on the week.
- Freshman Héléna Delaruelle (Enghien-les-Bains, France) grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds and dished six assists on no turnovers, while also scoring eight points.
ABOUT WHEATON:
- The Lyons (Norton, Mass.) are 3-2 on the young season coming off a 1-1 week in the Kean U Tournament, with a loss to Albright and a win over Lancaster Bible.
- Wheaton went 9-16 overall and 4-12 in NEWMAC play last season.
- The Lyons have three players all averaging over 10 points per game in their first five contests; junior forward Mikayla Pucci (14.2), freshman guard Bri Forbes (11.4) and senior guard Natalie Wind (11.0).
