New Hampshire is led by 20th-year head coach Sean McDonnell, who has guided the Wildcats to the NCAA FCS tournament each of the last 14 years (longest active streak in the nation).
UNH has a 12-21 lifetime record, including 6-11 at home, against Delaware. These teams have not met since the Blue Hens' 31-14 win in Delaware on Oct. 24, 2015. In the most recent matchup in Durham (Cowell Stadium), UNH prevailed 43-14 on Nov. 15, 2014.
The 'Cats have won five of the last seven meetings dating back to the 2004 season. Prior to that, Delaware won 7 of 8 spanning the 1992-2003 seasons.
New Hampshire has an 11-4 record at Wildcat Stadium that includes 1-2 this season and 6-3 in CAA conference games.

Senior wide receiver Neil O'Connor climbed to No. 9 in the nation in receptions per game (7.5) following his career-high 14 catches last week vs. Stony Brook. He recorded his 200th career reception with his fifth catch of that game. His 209 career catches is No. 3 on the program's all-time list.
UNH recorded more first downs (19-15) and had the advantage in both time of possession (33:29) and turnovers (+1), and the total offense yards were nearly even with Stony Brook holding a 317-312 edge. But the visiting Seawolves won by 28 points, 35-7, Oct. 13 at Wildcat Stadium.
Junior safety Rick Ellison had an interception each of the past two games against Holy Cross and Stony Brook, and he ranks fourth on the team with 36 tackles.
A pair of UNH running backs are approaching 1,000 career yards. Trevon Bryant enters Saturday's game vs. Delaware with 972 career rushing yards (34 games). Evan Gray has 884 rushing yards in 31 games.
