Wildcats outshoot Seawolves, 19-3.

STONY BROOK, N.Y. – Jack Valderrabano scored the game winner for the Seawolves as the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team fell to Stony Brook, 1-0, on Saturday evening in America East action at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium. The Wildcats fall to to 8-3-1 (2-2-0 America East), while the Seawolves improve to 7-4-2 (4-0-0 America East).

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Seawolves scored the only goal of the game in the 13th minute (12:14) when Valderrabano found the back of the net.
UNH took its first shot on goal in the 18th minute when Donnett Sackie (Monrovia, Liberia) had his attempt saved by Christian Miesch.
Miesch made a total of five saves during the first half to keep the Wildcats off the scoreboard.
The Wildcats continued to look for the equalizer in the second but Miesch made four saves as the Seawolves posted the 1-0 victory.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

Miesch was outstanding in net with nine saves.
UNH outshot Stony Brook, 19-3, while the Wildcats took nine shots on goal and the Seawolves tallied one.
UNH had six corner kicks, while Stony Brook took three.
