Frigon Helps 'Cats Take Fourth at EISA Championships

SUNDAY RIVER & RUMFORD, Maine – Geneviève Frigon (Laval, Quebec) notched a third-place finish in women's slalom at Sunday River and Lizzie Gill (Bozeman, Mont.) took fourth in the women's 15K freestyle at Black Mountain to propel the University of New Hampshire to fourth place overall at the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association Championships/NCAA East Regionals/Bates Carnival, which concluded Saturday.
Dartmouth scored 896 points to win the EISA Championship, followed by Vermont (820) and Middelbury (659).
UNH will play host to the NCAA Skiing Championships (March 8-11) at Cannon Mountain (alpine) and Jackson Touring Center (Nordic).
