11/4/2017 6:37:00 PM | Football
UNH recorded its first win at Zable Stadium since 1998 to improve to 6-3 overall and 4-2 in the CAA. W&M is now 2-7, 0-6.
It marked Knight's second 400-yard passing game of the season and career – he passed for a personal-best 420 yards vs. Rhode Island -- and the four passing TDs matched his benchmark established two weeks ago against Towson University.
Neil O'Connor (Leominster, Mass.) caught seven passes for 192 yards and one touchdown – all in the first three quarters -- to move into fifth place (1,129 yards) on UNH's all-time single-season list for receiving yards.
Kieran Presley (Amherst, Mass.) had seven catches for 60 yards and a TD while Malik Love (Alcoa, Tenn.) had 71 yards on four receptions. Evan Gray (Centreville, Va.) was UNH's leading rusher with 15 carries for 55 yards and one score.
Quinlen Dean (Greenbelt, Md.) recorded a team-high eight tackles.

GAME RECAP
1st QUARTER
- The Wildcats parlayed the game's opening possession into an opening score courtesy of a 48-yard touchdown pass from Knight to O'Connor, whose CAA-leading 10th TD reception of the season capped an 8-play, 75-yard drive in which Knight completed 3 of 4 passes for 67 yards.
2nd QUARTER
- UNH built its lead to 14-0 by compiling an 11-play, 99-yard touchdown drive that started late in the first quarter and ended on the first play of the second quarter when Knight rolled right, reversed to his left and then found a wide-open Donald Goodrich (York, Maine) in the back of the end zone for a 4-yard TD. It was the first career scoring grab of Goodrich's career, and it followed the first-ever catch for tight end John DiCaro (Dallas, Texas), who snared a Knight pass and rumbled 43 yards to set up 1st-and-goal at the 6.
- The Tribe got on the board with 11:47 remaining in the second when quarterback Tommy McKee scored on a 6-yard keeper, which trimmed New Hampshire's lead to 14-7.
- Knight's third TD throw of the day, an 8-yard hookup with Nick Lorden (Milford, N.H.), capped an impressive 9-play, 90-yard drive that staked UNH to a 21-7 lead with 7:53 left in the half. Lorden's seventh catch of the season was his fifth scoring reception. Earlier in the drive, O'Connor hauled in a 37-yard reception to go over 1,000 receiving yards for the season.
- Kris Hooper booted a 27-yard field goal with 2:36 left in the second to cut UNH's lead to 21-10.
- Hooper was wide left on a 28-yard attempt on the final play of the half.
3rd QUARTER
- Prince Smith, Jr. (Philadelphia, Pa.) recorded his first interception of the season with 12:46 left in the quarter to stop the College's initial drive of the second half at the UNH 27-yard line.
- Knight's career-high-matching fourth TD pass of the game was an 8-yarder to Presley with 4:22 left in the third that extended the Wildcats' lead to 28-10.
4th QUARTER
- Gray bulled his way in for a 1-yard touchdown with 13:19 remaining to extend UNH's lead to 35-10.
- McKee's 22-yard yard run down the left sideline capped a 9-play, 80-yard drive and trimmed the deficit to 35-16 with 1:39 remaining.
