Imhotep became the first Philadelphia Public League school to win a Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association AAA state championship... spearheaded a defense that shut out seven teams and ranked 10th in the USA Today Super 25 national rankings... named All-Public League First Team at defensive back and scored a TD three different ways -- receiving, rushing and interception return... career numbers included 29 TDs and 10 INTs... also lettered in track & field.
