America East Play Kicks Off With Stony Brook on ESPN3 (Jan. 4; 11 AM)

DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team opens America East play with Stony Brook University on Wednesday, Jan. 4 (11 AM) on ESPN3 for Education Day in Lundholm Gymnasium.

Education Day
About 1,000 middle school students from both Oyster River and Somersworth will be participating in the annual game. Students will take part in educational discussions prior to the game with an athletics twist. Athletes from gymnastics, men's hockey and men's basketball will talk to the students about doing a good job in school and what that can do for your future.
Coach Mags
A 2003 graduate of Marist College, Maureen Magarity is in her seventh season as UNH's head coach. She has compiled a 95-97 record in her six-plus seasons. She led the Wildcats to back-to-back winning seasons in 2013-14 when they went 19-12 overall and 2014-15 when they were 17-12.
