Hartford Enters Durham for Alumni & You Can Play Game (Jan. 22; 1 PM)

DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hamshire women's basketball team (15-3, 5-0 AE) looks for its program-best 10th straight win against the University of Hartford (13-5, 4-1 AE) on Sunday, Jan. 22 (1 PM) in Lundholm Gym on You Can Play and Alumni Day.
Looking Ahead
UNH plays at UMass Lowell in a Field Day Game at 11 a.m. Wednesday. The Wildcats return home to play Hartford on Saturday at 1 p.m. Both games will be televised on ESPN3. Tickets are available HERE.
Today's Promotions
The Wildcats will honor their alumni today with a pre-game reception/game and a halftime recognition. It's also the You Can Play game today, an initiative the America East pushes through all sports.
'Cat Facts
Nine is Fine
UNH set a program record against Maine on Jan. 19 with its ninth straight win. The Wildcats last loss came on Dec. 11 against Yale at home and they have win 14 of their last 15 games. The previous record of eight consecutive wins came during the 1982-83 season.
Century Club
Coach Magarity became the fourth coach in program history to hit the 100-win mark with the Jan. 19 triumph over Maine. A 2003 graduate of Marist College, Magarity is in her seventh season and has a 100-97 record as UNH's head coach. She led UNH to back-to-back winning seasons in 2013-14 (19-12) and 2014-15 (17-12). Magarity is the fastest to 100 wins at the school since Kathy Sanborn (1986-1997). Sanborn went 170-127 during her 11 seasons and has the most wins by a Wildcat coach. Cecilia DeMarco was 136-86 in her nine seasons (1977-86) and Sue Johnson was 133-150 in her 11 (1997-2007).
