DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's basketball team is set to take on West Virginia University on Sunday, Nov. 20 (1 PM) at the WVU Coliseum in the Preseason NIT Tournament on Root Sports.

The Wildcats are in the Preseason NIT for the first time in program history. New Hampshire played at Temple and pulled out an incredible 57-52 win. UNH plays West Virginia today and then hosts Detroit on Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 2 PM before traveling to Winthrop to close out the tournament on the road on Sunday, Nov. 27 (2 PM).
 
Down Goes Temple
New Hampshire had arguably it's biggest win in program history against Temple University on Monday, Nov. 14 when they went into Liacouras Center and left with a 57-52 win. David Watkins (Dorchester, Mass.), Leissner and Daniel Dion (Cedar Park, Texas) all scored double-digits in the win as the Wildcats held the Owls to 30.3 percent shooting (20 of 66) and 22.2 percent (6 of 27) from beyond the arc. UNH led in bench points (8-5), points in the paint (16-10) and matched on fast-break points (2-2).
