Played QB/DB at Piscataway High School for coach Dan Higgins...as senior, he was responsible for 600 yards of offense, passing for 8 TDs and rushing for over 300 yds with 4 TDs for the Chiefs...at defensive back, he secured 3 INTs and broke up 9 passes, leading team in tackles...named all-area and second-team all-state; ESPN ranked him No. 2 safety in state...in junior season, he passed for over 1,500 yds with 20 TDs and only 4 INTs, leading Piscataway to 11-1 record and the New Jersey Group 4 State Championship...rushed for over 500 yards and 6 TDs; on defense, he racked up two interceptions, two pass break-ups and nine solo stops at safety...named All-Area Greater Middlesex First Team Conference selection and First-Team All-State QB...maintained a GPA of 3.0, earning second honors as a junior and senior...member of the "Who's Who of American Students" for two years
