Converse Named to East Coast Challenge All-Tournament Team

Converse led the team with 39 kills across three matches in Storrs.
STORRS, Conn. — University of New Hampshire junior outside hitter Emma Converse (San Antonio, Texas) was named to the East Coast Challenge All-Tournament Team, as announced following the conclusion of the tournament on Monday (Sept. 14).
Converse posted another impressive weekend for the Wildcats, pacing the team in kills across all three matches played in Storrs, earning 18 in the win over Fairleigh Dickinson before logging 13 against UConn and eight over Yale, totaling 39 kills (3.90/set).
Additionally, Converse managed eight service aces, headlined by a career-high five aces against FDU, 18 digs (1.80/set), one solo block, one block assist, and 48.5 points (4.85/set).

The Wildcats travel to Clemson, S.C., on Saturday, Sept. 18, as they battle with the Furman Paladins (4-4, 0-0 SoCon) with a 12 p.m. opening serve at Jervey Gymnasium.
