Field Hockey Unveils 2026 Schedule

Eight Home Games Includes Rematch of 2025 America East Title Game vs. UVM
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire field hockey program, led by first-year head coach Sarah Mansfield-Lahl, has announced its 16-game regular season schedule for the 2026 season, which will include eight home games at Memorial Field.
The Wildcats went 5-2 at Memorial Field in 2025 with five consecutive home wins, including an America East semifinal victory, en route to winning the conference tournament and advancing to the NCAAs in a 12-win season.

UNH makes the first of two trips to Philadelphia for the Aug. 28 season opener at St. Joseph's University. One day later, the Wildcats will play UConn at SJU's Ellen Ryan Field. Including the 'Cats, all three teams advanced to the 2025 NCAA tournament with the Huskies advancing to the second round (quarterfinals).
One week later, the 'Cats are back on the road for two games at Indiana University. UNH plays the Hoosiers on Sept. 4 and then Central Michigan University on Sept. 6.
New Hampshire concludes a season-opening stretch of five consecutive games away from home with a Sept. 13 game at UMass, a team that won 16 games in the 2025 season.
The Wildcats begin a four-game homestand with their Sept. 20 home opener against Boston University, which lost an NCAA opening round game last season. One week later, the 'Cats welcome College of the Holy Cross to Memorial Field on Oct. 27. It will be the first regular-season meeting vs. the Crusaders since 2019.
UNH begins the month of October with the America East conference opener against University of Vermont on Oct. 2; it is a rematch of the 2025 championship game that UNH won 1-0 in double overtime. The homestand ends Oct. 4 vs. Miami University (Ohio), another team that advanced to the NCAA second round a year ago.
Conference action resumes Oct. 9 with a Buffalo Wild Wings Border Battle at University of Maine, then the 'Cats play host to University of New Haven on Oct. 11.
The pattern of playing a conference opponent every other game continues Oct. 16 against UMass Lowell and the Wildcats go back to Philadelphia to play Temple University – a team that won 12 games last year – on Oct. 18, then again Oct. 23 vs. UAlbany and Oct. 25 against Cornell University – an 11-win team last year – followed by the Oct. 29 regular-season finale at Bryant University.
The America East Championships begin Nov. 1 with a pair of first round games, followed by the Nov. 3 semifinals and Nov. 6 title game.
