UNH Will Face Vermont for the Jersey Mikes America East Quarterfinals

SMITHFIELD, R.I.  – The University of New Hampshire men's basketball team fell to Bryant, 90-56, Tuesday night at the Chace Athletic Center.

Freshman guard Khalil Badru (New Britain, Conn.) led the Wildcats with 12 points and three steals. Junior guard Anthony McComb III (Dayton, Ohio) added 11 points and five rebounds for the 'Cats. Junior guard Sami Pissis (Paris, France) also finished in the double-digits with 10 points.

The Wildcats finished the regular season 8-23 (6-10 AE).

First Half

UNH took Bryant's hostile Senior Day environment head-on at the start of the game, as they took a 17-9 lead in the first six and a half minutes of play, highlighted by three-pointers from sophomore forward Davide Poser (Veneto, Italy) and sophomore forward Dylan Saunders (Roanoke, Va.).
The 'Cats maintained their lead until 2:09 in the first half when the Bulldogs tied the score at 31 and continued to take a 35-31 lead into the locker room.
Pissis led the Wildcats' first-half scoring with eight points. Freshman guard Antoni Siewruk (Koszalin, Poland) and Poser each followed with five points. Okpomo slated six rebounds.

Second Half

Bryant took over the second half and defeated the 'Cats 90-56.
Badru led the 'Cats with eight second-half points.
Freshman guard Nick Sanford (Phoenix, Ariz.) faded away for the first points of his career.
