Service Credit Union Student-Athlete of the Week: Jasmine Lyons and Aidan Shea

DURHAM, N.H. – Graduate student Jasmine Lyons (Ottawa, Ontario.) of the University of New Hampshire ski team and graduate student Aidan Shea (Amherst, Mass.) of the men's track and field team were named the Service Credit Union Student-Athletes of the Week on Feb. 17.
Jasmine secured a podium finish for the second straight week when she finished third in the classic sprint with a time of 4 minutes, 0.57 seconds to earn 44 points for the Wildcats on Day 1 of the Middlebury Carnival (Feb. 14).
Jasmine led the UNH women in the 10K classic on Feb. 15 by placing 10th with a time of 29:42.8 to earn 33 more points.
The UNH ski team returns to action Feb. 21-22 for the UNH Carnival as the Wildcats host the EISA Championships/NCAA East Regionals.
Aidan broke the school record in the men's indoor mile at the David Hemery Valentine Invitational at the Track and Tennis Center on Friday, Feb. 14. He finished the mile with a time of 4:01.74 to break the previous record of 4:02.36 set last season by Aidan O' Hern.
The UNH men's track & field team returns to action for the America East Championships on Feb. 22-23 at the Track and Tennis Center in Boston, Mass.
