Elias Khodri Named America East Offensive Player of the Week

Khodri scored two goals on Friday in the 2-1 win at UMass Lowell
BOSTON – Senior forward Elias Khodri (Lyon, France) of the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team has been named the America East Offensive Player of the Week. This is Khodri's first career America East weekly award.
Khodri scored both UNH goals as the Wildcats defeated UMass Lowell, 2-1 on the road on Friday. He gave the Wildcats a 1-0 lead early in the first half when he volleyed a one-timer from six yards out to the back of net. Then in the 18th minute he fired a shot to the lower right corner of the net on a penalty kick.
Khodri leads the team with seven goals, 15 points and three game winners.
The Wildcats return to action at Wildcat Stadium in the regular season finale versus No. 7 Bryant on Tuesday, Nov. 4 at 6 p.m. on ESPN+. UNH has clinched a bid to the America East Championship for the 11th straight season.
