Wildcats Drop Close Contest to UMass Lowell

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's basketball dropped a close game to UMass Lowell, 56-54, on Saturday afternoon at Lundholm Gym.
Sophomore guard Maggie Cavanaugh (Point Pleasant Beach, N.J.) led the Wildcats with a career-high 19 points, along with three rebounds, and three steals. Sophomore guard Eva DeChent (Westchester, N.Y.) contributed 16 points.
The Wildcats fall to 8-13 on the season (2-6 America East), while the River Hawks improve to 3-16 (1-6).
