Wildcats Fall to Bryant on Buzzer Beater

SMITHFIELD, R. I. – The University of New Hampshire women's basketball was edged by Bryant, 42-41, on Thursday evening at Chace Athletic Center.
Sophomore guard Maggie Cavanaugh (Point Pleasant Beach, N.J.) led the way with a season-high 17 points, including three 3-pointers, five rebounds, and two steals.
Sophomore guard Eva DeChent (Westchester, N.Y.) added 12 points, six rebounds, and two assists.
The Wildcats drop to 8-12 on the season (2-5 America East), while the Bulldogs improve to 10-9 (3-3).
