DURHAM, N.H. – Senior quarterback Seth Morgan (Pittsburgh, Pa.) threw six touchdown passes to tie the University of New Hampshire record and secure a 45-6 victory over the Stonehill Skyhawks in Saturday's home opener at Wildcat Stadium.

Morgan completed 22 of 30 passes for 387 yards and the six scores.

Junior wide receivers Joey Corcoran (Montreal, Quebec) and Caleb Burke (Johnstown, Pa.) and sophomore tight end Colby Ramshaw (Londonderry, N.H.) combined for the six TD receptions and all three broke career highs in receiving yards.

Corcoran finished with five catches for 129 yards and a personal-best three touchdowns. Burke had three catches for 134 receiving yards and a career-high two TDs. Ramshaw pulled in three receptions for 36 yards and a touchdown.

Senior cornerback Noah Stansbury (Orange, N.J.) had an interception, blocked a kick and was credited with two pass breakups. He also tallied three tackles, which included a tackle for loss and a half-sack.

Stonehill QB Ashur Carraha was 7 of 23 for 77 yards and he was the Skyhawks' top ground gainer with 71 yards on 10 carries.

UNH improves to 2-1 and Stonehill is 0-2.

FIRST QUARTER

At 10:22, Morgan completed an 11-yard pass to Corcoran in the top right corner of the end zone. Nick Mazzie (Boxford, Mass.) kicked the PAT to give the 'Cats the 7-0 lead.
At 7:00 of the first quarter, Zavion Woodard of Stonehill rushed up the middle for two yards to score the touchdown but Stansbury blocked the PAT kick to keep UNH in front, 7-6.
Morgan sent another TD pass to Corcoran at 4:53 for 56 yards and Mazzie's PAT attempt was good once again to make it a 14-6 game.

SECOND QUARTER

At 9:55 of the second quarter, Stansbury intercepted Ashur Carraha's pass at the UNH 47 yard line.
On the next play, Morgan connected with Burke for a 53-yard score to increase the lead to 21-6.
Morgan sent a 19-yard pass to Ramshaw in the top left corner of the end zone for the touchdown and the 'Cats made it 28-6 after Mazzie sticks the PAT with five seconds on the clock.

THIRD QUARTER

Senior running back Isaac Seide (Everett, Mass.) rushed for eight yards to UNH 32, earning the first down for UNH. Morgan completed a pass to Burke at the Stonehill 31 and he ran to the end zone for a UNH touchdown. Mazzie's PAT attempt was good, now giving UNH a 35-6 lead at 9:14.
At 6:39 of the third quarter, Corcoran jumped and caught the ball in midair at the SC 7 and continued to the end zone for another UNH touchdown. Mazzie made the extra point to extend the Wildcats' lead to 42-6.
With a little over a minute left in the third quarter, Mazzie drilled a 44-yard field goal between the uprights to cap the game scoring.

FOURTH QUARTER

At 2:00 of the fourth quarter, freshman quarterback Matt Vezza (Elmhurst, Ill.) hit freshman wide receiver Dylan Evans (Orchard Park, N.Y.) at the SC 19 for a 36-yard pass play.
UNH outgained the Skyhawks 55-47 in the scoreless fourth quarter.

UNH NOTEBOOK

Morgan's six touchdown passes matched the benchmark established by current UNH head coach Rick Santos on Oct. 2, 2004 against Villanova University.
Mateo Vandamia (Pittsburgh, Pa.) and Will Coty (Hyannis, Mass.) tied for the team lead with five tackles.
UNH's defense recorded eight tackles for loss, including four sacks.
Zach Garron (Bedford, N.H.) had a team-high two tackles for loss.
Defensive ends Flex Ruiz (Orlando, Fla.) and Josiah Silver (Hampton, Va.) both had 1.5 tackles for loss.
Burke had a career-long catch of 68 yards.
Corcoran matched his long of 56 yards.
Seide led the Wildcats' ground game with 16 carries for 54 yards.
