Burke's Career-High 151 Receiving Yards and Two TDs Lead UNH Past Bryant, 38-17

Morgan, the reigning CAA Football co-Offensive Player of the Week, completed 23 of 30 passes with TD passes to three different receivers and completed passes to eight different Wildcats. He engineered a touchdown drive each of UNH's first four possessions.
Junior Caleb Burke (Johnstown, Pa.) finished with six catches for a career-high 151 yards and had two TD receptions for the second consecutive game. Grad student captain Logan Tomlinson (Manchester, Conn.) had seven catches for 106 yards, including an 11-yard touchdown.
Senior Isaac Seide (Everett, Mass.) was UNH's top ground gainer with six carries for 61 yards, including a 33-yard touchdown run.
Senior cornerback Noah Stansbury (Orange, N.J.) and grad student safety Wande Owens (Cooksvile, Md.) tied with a game-high nine tackles. Stansbury was also credited with three pass breakups and Owens had one of UNH's two sacks.
Bryant quarterback Jarrett Guest was 25 of 44 for 335 yards and one TD.
UNH extended its winning streak to three games to improve to 3-1 overall, 2-0 at home and 1-0 in the CAA. Bryant is now 1-3 overall and 0-1 in the CAA following its first ever CAA Football conference game.

FIRST QUARTER
- Morgan combined with Burke on a 10-yard touchdown pass and the PAT kick by Nick Mazzie (Boxford, Mass.) gave UNH a 7-0 lead at 9:30.
- Bryant was assessed a holding penalty during the ensuing kickoff to start its first drive of the game at the BRY 9 yard line. After advancing the ball to the BRY 25, the Bulldogs were forced to punt and an errant snap went through the back of the end zone for a safety to give UNH a 9-0 lead at 6:47.
- Seide broke through the middle of the line into open space for a 33-yard TD and Morgan found Colby Ramshaw (Londonderry, N.H.) in the left flat for the 2-point PAT conversion to extend the advantage to 17-0 at 5:16.
- Bryce Soli's 28-yard field goal capped a 6-play, 58-yard drive the lifted the visitors within 17-3 at 2:33. UNH's defense made a stand at the 10-yard line after surrendering a 55-yard pass play.
SECOND QUARTER
- On the first play of the second quarter, Morgan found Drew Danson (Wrentham, Mass.) in the back of the end zone on a play-action pass to extend UNH's lead to 24-33 at 14:57.
- Soli's 46-yard field goal attempt was short to end an 8-play, 51-yard drive that ended at the UNH 28 at 9:46.
- On 2nd-and-goal from the BRY 1, Morgan connected with Tomlinson to push the margin to 31-3 at 7:41.
- On their next drive, the Wildcats advanced to the BRY 15 but then a pair of penalties moved the ball back to the 28 yard line and Mazzie's 45-yard field goal attempt missed wide right.

- In the closing seconds of the half, the Bulldogs advanced to the UNH 42, but Josiah Silver (Hampton, Va.) sacked Guest for a loss of 12 yards to end the half.
THIRD QUARTER
- Bryant outgained the 'Cats 91-42 in the scoreless third quarter.
- New Hampshire's defense made a pair of fourth-down stops. On 4th-an-10 from the UNH 22, Perkins hurried Guest into an incompletion to get the ball back for the 'Cats at 10:48.
- On the visitor's next drive, Ryan Toscano (Bedford, N.H.) and Zeroun Skinner (Orlando, Fla.) combined to stop Ryan Clark for a 1-yard gain on 4th-and-2 from the UNH 11 at 4:46.
FOURTH QUARTER
- Bryant scored the first points of the second half on Clark's two-yard run up the middle to pull within 31-17 at 9:26.
- Morgan and Burke, who combined to produce the first points of the game, also combined to provide the final points of the game on a 31-yard TD pass at 5:38.
- The Bulldogs advanced 39 yards to the BRY 48 on six plays, but then threw four consecutive incompletions to lose possession on downs at 1:51.
- Following a pair of two-yard runs up the middle by Denzell Gibson (Bellwood, Ill.), Morgan took a knee on third down to end the game.
UNH NOTEBOOK
- New Hampshire had a pair of 100-yard receivers for the second consecutive game. Prior to Sept. 14, the Wildcats did not have two 100-yard receivers in a game since the 2016 season.
- UNH's game-opening 10-play, 74-yard drive of 5 minutes, 26 seconds was the Wildcats' longest drive of the game with regards to plays, distance and time.
- Gibson finished with 14 carries for 54 yards. He also caught two passes for five yards.
- It was Danson's first TD catch of the season and second career.
- Mazzie's 45-yard field goal attempt that sailed wide right marked his first miss of the season. He is now 13-for0-13 on PAT kicks and 2-for-3 on FGs.
- Junior Brandon Perkins (Williamstown, N.J.) was credited with three tackles and two quarterback hurries.
- Morgan has thrown for totals of 701 yards and 10 TDs the past two game.
- Burke surpassed his career high of 134 yards established the previous game vs. Stonehill.
- UNH has outscored the opposition 83-23 in two home games.
SERIES NOTEBOOK
- UNH has won both lifetime meetings vs. Bryant.
- The Wildcats were 45-17 victors in the 2017 season.
