UNH in second place entering the final day of competition.
ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Sophomore Ella Guilfoil (Fairport, N.Y.) won the 400 IM as the University of New Hampshire swimming and diving team is currently in second place after day three of the four-day America East Championships at the VMI Aquatic Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
400 IM
Guilfoil started off the night by winning her second gold medal of the championships by placing first in the 400 IM with a time of 4:17.42 posting All-Conference honors for the fourth time in her career. Natalie Schlemmer of Vermont placed second (4:24.66).
Sophomore Trinity Devanney (Gulf Breeze, Fla.) placed fifth as she recorded a time of 4:30.62 to post her top career America East Championships finish.
100 FLY
Junior captain Chiara Maria Pradissitto (Milan, Italy) took silver in the 100 fly with a personal-best time of 54.73 to earn her first career individual medal. This is the fifth time she has garnered All-Conference accolades.
Freshman Grace Mahon (Orange, Conn.) set a new freshman school record with a time of 55.44 to record a fourth-place finish.
200 FREE
Senior captain Abby McKinney (Westfield, N.J.) won bronze in the 200 free with a personal-best time of 1:50.84 earning her ninth career All-America East accolade.
100 BREAST
Freshman Emily Wright (Ventura, Calif.) was eighth with a time of 1:05.02, while she set her personal record in the prelims (1:04.83).
400 MEDLEY RELAY
The 400 medley relay team of Guilfoil, Wright, Pradissitto and sophomore Audrey Mahoney (Downers Grove, Ill.) finished second with a time of 3:43.38.
