200 free relay team sets school record.
ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Sophomore Ella Guilfoil (Fairport, N.Y.) won the 200 IM and the 200 free relay team set a school record as the University of New Hampshire swimming and diving team is currently in first place after day two of the four-day America East Championships at the VMI Aquatic Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
500 FREE
Senior Hannah Devine (Hamilton, N.J.) finished fourth in the 500 free with a career-best time of 4:56.42, while sophomore Carolyn Nelson (Glen Ellyn, Ill.) was eighth at 5:04.27.
200 IM
Guilfoil captured her first America East gold medal by winning the 200 IM in a career-best time of 2:00.06. She earned All-Conference honors for the third in her career.
Junior Megumi Komoto (Schaumburg, Ill.) placed seventh with a time of 2:07.20. She set her career-best time in the prelims at 2:07.19.
50 FREE
Sophomore Audrey Mahoney (Downers Grove, Ill.) won the silver medal in the 50 free by posting a time of 23.10 to record her seventh career All-Conference accolade. She also set a personal best time of 23:08 in the prelims. Mahoney was just edged out by Ashley Gutshall of UMBC who tallied a time of 23.05.
Senior captain Abby McKinney (Westfield, N.J.) was fourth with a career-best time of 23.58.
THREE-METER DIVING
The Wildcats qualified three divers for the three-meter finals as freshman Grace Blume (Dedham, Mass.) won her first America East medal and All-Conference honor by taking bronze with a score of 265.10.
Junior Emma Clarke (Avon, N.Y.) placed sixth (226.45) and senior Hannah Weatherby (Newtown, Conn.) was seventh (219.65) which was her career-best finish at the America East Championships.
200 FREE RELAY
The 200 free relay team of senior captain Abby McKinney (Westfield, N.J.), junior captain Chiara Maria Pradissitto (Milan, Italy), junior Annie Jencova (Waikanae, New Zealand) and Mahoney took silver in a school-record time of 1:32.97. UMBC just edged out the 'Cats with a time of 1:32.92.
