'Cats End Non-Conference Play with 74-57 Win at Stonehill

Gomez Scores Career-High 25 Points, Notches First Double-Double
EASTON, Mass. – The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team closed out non-conference play with a commanding 74-57 win over Stonehill on Monday night at Merkert Gymnasium.
Senior forward Clara Gomez (Barcelona, Spain) led the Wildcats with a career-high 25 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, and two steals, marking the first double-double of her career.
Freshman guard Elizabeth Lavoie (Derry, N.H.) delivered a breakout performance, scoring a career-high 18 points off the bench on 7-for-8 shooting, including 4-for-5 from beyond the arc.
The Wildcats improve to 6-7, while the Skyhawks drop to 4-9.
