Dominik Kurija scored his first goal as a Wildcat.
MIAMI – Graduate student back Dominik Kurija (Munich, Germany) scored his first goal as a Wildcat as the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team defeated No. 11 Florida International 2-1 on Friday evening from Miami.
Graduate student midfielder Bilal Kamal (London, England) scored the first goal of the game for the 'Cats.
The Wildcats improve to 3-1-1, while the Panthers fall to 2-1-2.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Kamal gave the 'Cats a 1-0 lead in the 11th minute (10:40) when he buried the ball to the bottom right corner. Graduate student back Liam Bennett (Concord, N.H.) found Kamal streaking towards the goal and notched an assist on the goal.

- Kurija ripped a shot from outside the box through traffic and into the back of the net in the 15th minute (14:45) to give UNH a 2-0 lead.

- Eduardo Mustre capitalized on a penalty kick in the 19th minute (18:52) for the Panthers and cut the FIU deficit in half.
