Yannick Bright Named to MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List

Bright is a two-time All-American.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Senior midfielder Yannick Bright (Milan, Italy) of the No. 23 nationally-ranked University of New Hampshire men's soccer program has been named to the 2023 Men's MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List as announced by United Soccer Coaches and the Missouri Athletic Club. The Hermann Trophy is awarded annually to the nation's top male and female college soccer players.
A total of 37 NCAA Division I men's soccer players were named to the watch list.
Bright is a two-time All-American earning 2021 First Team accolades and 2023 Third Team honors. He was named the America East Midfielder of the Year in 2021 and 2022, while he was also selected to the First Team All-Northeast Region and First Team All-America East in 2021 and 2022. Bright was a 2021 MAC Hermann Trophy Semifinalist. Last season he was named the America East Men's Soccer Scholar Athlete of the Year.
UNH kicks off the 2023 season on Thursday, Aug. 24 at VCU at 8:15 p.m. The home-opener is versus Boston University on Sunday, Aug. 27 at 5 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium.
