Yannick Bright Named America East Men’s Soccer Scholar Athlete of the Year

Bright is a two-time All-American.
BOSTON – Junior midfielder Yannick Bright (Milan, Italy) of the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team has been named the America East Men's Soccer Scholar Athlete of the Year as voted upon by the conference's Student-Athlete Engagement committee.
Bright has a 3.53 GPA as a Finance major. He was a member of the 2022 America East All-Academic Team and earned Academic All-District accolades. Bright was on the 2021 America East Commissioner's Honor Roll and 2020 America East Academic Honor Roll.
Bright is a two-time All-American and two-time America East Midfielder of the Year. He also has been named to the All-Conference First Team twice.
UNH went 15-4-1 (.775) overall in the 2022 season. The Wildcats were 6-1-0 in America East earning the regular season championship for the fourth straight season and their fifth regular season championship in program history. UNH then won its fourth America East Tournament championship and made its seventh NCAA Tournament appearance and sixth straight. The Wildcats defeated Seton Hall, 2-1, in the first round at Wildcat Stadium and then tied No. 10 seed Florida International, 2-2, in the second round but lost the 12 round-shootout 10-9.
