UNH Track & Field to Host First Alumni Mile

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire's men's and women's track and field program is hosting the first Alumni Mile this Sunday at 11 a.m. at Paul Sweet Oval. All alumni of the men's and women's track and field as well as the men's and women's cross country teams are invited.
All ability levels are welcome to compete in the mile run, which will take place right after our Senior Day festivities for the class of 2023. The Senior Day ceremony will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning and the mile will start after the conclusion of the ceremony.
The Alumni Mile will be timed professionally by Lancer Timing, and every runner will get an official time. There will be multiple heats for the mile to accommodate all times and skill levels.

Following the conclusion of the Alumni Mile, both men's and women's track and field teams will compete with Holy Cross in a dual meet starting at 11:30 a.m. All are welcome to stay and cheer on the Wildcats. For those who can't make it, we encourage you to participate virtually on Jan. 22 and share your results on social media.
