DURHAM, N.H. – Senior midfielder Rory O'Driscoll (Minneapolis, Minn.) scored the game-winning goal for the Wildcats as the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team defeated Virginia Commonwealth University, 1-0, on Saturday at Wildcat Stadium.
The Wildcats' record improves to 1-2-0 overall, while the Rams fall to 0-3-0 overall.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In the second minute (1:24) of the game, senior midfielder Bilal Kamal (London, England) fired a shot that deflected off a VCU defender and bounced to O'Driscoll who then sent the ball into the bottom right corner of the goal.
- The Wildcats outshot the Rams 9-2 in the first half.
- Senior goalkeeper Jassem Koleilat (Dubai, Unites Arab Emirates) made two saves during the second half as VCU was unable to score the equalizer for the 1-0 final.
