'Cats edge Binghamton at home on Pink Day, 54-51

Brooke Kane totaled a team-high 13 points in the Wildcats second AE win of the season
DURHAM, N.H. – Senior Ivy Gogolin (Hopkinton, Mass.) was key to UNH's victory as she had the final shot that put the Cats' ahead by three with six seconds left in the game. She had nine points and five rebounds that were crucial to UNH's 54-51 victory over the Binghamton Bearcats on Saturday afternoon at Lundholm Gymnasium.
Junior forward Birna Benonysdottir (Keflavik, Iceland) had game-high 23 points for Binghamton, which included 20 of her points coming in the first half.
Junior guard Brooke Kane (Derry, N.H.) was the Wildcats leading scorer against Binghamton, scoring 13 points, three assists, and three rebounds. She also had one crucial block and one steal to assist the Cats' in their victory today. Guards Helena Delaruelle (Enghien-les-Bains, France) and Amanda Torres (Hudson, N.H.) each added 10 points apiece in the win for the Wildcats.
Binghamton was limited to eight players today, they move to 5-16 (1-10 in America East) as they lose their sixth game in a row
UNH improves to 5-17 (2-9 in America East) as they break a five-game losing streak on Pink Day
The Cats' return to action on Monday, February 14 on the road at Hartford in America East play. Game time from Chase Family Arena 3 PM on ESPN+.
