Wildcats Fall to #3 Ohio State

COLUMBUS, Ohio. – Senior center Brooke Kane (Derry, N.H.) led the team with 13 points as the University of New Hampshire women's basketball team fell to non-conference opponent Ohio State, 92-36 on Thursday morning at the Schottenstein Center.
The Wildcats' record falls to 4-7 (0-0 AE) and Ohio State's improves to 9-0 (1-0 B1G).

· Freshman guard Karolina Andersson collected a rebound and put it back up for two to give the Wildcats a 9-8 lead.
SECOND QUARTER:
· Kane had eight points for the Wildcats in the second quarter.
· Williams drained a buzzer beater three to bring the 'Cats within ten points of the Buckeyes.
· The Wildcats collected 12 rebounds in the quarter, two more than Ohio State.
THIRD QUARTER:
· Junior center Paige Cote (Sanford, Maine) had two assists, contributing to a total of six.
FOURTH QUARTER:
· Kane drained a late free throw that gave her a combined 13 points throughout the game.
