Moise Bombito & Yannick Bright to Attend MLS College Showcase

Event to place take from Dec. 9-12 in Raleigh, N.C.
NEW YORK – Junior back Moise Bombito (Montreal, Quebec) and junior midfielder Yannick Bright (Milan, Italy) of the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team will attend the 2022 Major League Soccer College Showcase in Raleigh, N.C. from Dec. 9-12. There are a total of 44 invitees to the showcase.
The four-day event will give technical staffs from every MLS club an opportunity to scout these top collegiate prospects in the nation, including players with remaining NCAA eligibility. The showcase is a closed-door scouting event officially sanctioned by the NCAA.
Bombito, who was just recently named a semifinalist for the Hermann Trophy, won the 2022 America East Defender of the Year, while he also earned first team All-America East accolades. He tied for third on the team with four goals and tied for second with two game winners. Bombito led a defense that was third in the nation with a 0.500 team goals against average.
Bright was named the America East Midfielder of the Year for the second straight season, while he also earned First Team All-America East honors for the second consecutive year. The 2021 First Team All-American and 2021 MAC Hermann Trophy Semifinalist, tallied two goals and one assist for five points.
UNH went 15-4-1 (.775) overall in the 2022 season. The Wildcats went 6-1-0 in America East earning the regular season championship for the fourth straight season and their fifth regular season championship in program history. UNH then won its fourth America East Tournament championship and made its seventh NCAA Tournament appearance and sixth straight. The Wildcats defeated Seton Hall, 2-1, in the first round at Wildcat Stadium and then tied No. 10 seed Florida International, 2-2, in the second round but lost the 12 round-shootout 10-9.
The Wildcats posted 11 shutouts and outscored the opposition, 38-12.
