'Cats Drop Sunday Matinee to BU, 78-42

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team fell to Boston University, 78-42 on Sunday afternoon at Lundholm Gym.
The Wildcats' record falls to 2-5 (0-0 AE) and Boston University's record improves to 4-2 (0-0 Patriot League).

First Quarter
· The Terriers scored the first points of the game, but freshman guard Avery O'Connor (Dedham, Mass.) quickly brought the 'Cats back within one when she sank a three.
· BU maintained the lead with the score at the end of the quarter being 20-11.

Second Quarter
· Junior guard Belen Morales Lopez (Bellreguard, Spain) started the second quarter off by scoring for UNH with a layup.
