Nazim Derry and Matt Herasme each scored 15 points apiece in the loss
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The University of New Hampshire men's basketball team dropped a 75-54 decision at George Washington on Saturday afternoon at the Charles E. Smith Center in non-conference play.
The Wildcats drop to 2-3 overall with the loss, while the Colonials improve to 4-2 on the season.
Graduate students Matt Herasme (Chester, N.Y.) and Nazim Derry (Atlantic City, N.J.) each totaled a team-high 15 points apiece in the losing effort.
Junior forward Clarence Daniels (Brooklyn Park, Minn.) chipped in with 11 points for the 'Cats.
Brendan Adams scored 25 points in the victory for the Colonials.
The Wildcats trailed, 39-24 at halftime.
UNH returns to action on Wednesday, November 30 against Sacred Heart. Game time from Lundholm Gymnasium is 7 p.m. on ESPN+.
