Bennett, Bright & Goldman Earn Academic All-District Honors

UNH to take on Seton Hall in the NCAA First Round on Nov. 17 at Wildcat Stadium.
DURHAM, N.H. – Junior Liam Bennett (Concord, N.H.), junior Yannick Bright (Milan, Italy) and junior Eli Goldman (Minneapolis, Minn.) of the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team have been named to the 2022 Academic All-District Team, selected by College Sports Communicators. The honor recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in early December.
UNH (14-4-0, 6-1-0 America East) will play Seton Hall (7-3-7, 4-1-5 Big East) in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament on Thursday, Nov. 17 at Wildcat Stadium at 6 p.m. This will be the first-ever meeting between the two programs. The winner of the game will travel to take on No. 10 seed Florida International on Sunday, Nov. 20. Tickets are on sale now on UNHWildcats.com/Tickets or by calling 603-862-4000.

Bennett has a 3.50 GPA as a Management major. He is a two-time member of the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll, while he posted a perfect 4.0 in the Fall 2021 semester. He is also a member of the National College Athlete Honor Society. Bennett has played in 17 games this season with 10 starts and has two assists for two points.
Bright has a 3.51 GPA as a Finance major. He was just recently named to the America East All-Academic Team. Bright was a member of the 2021 America East Commissioner's Honor Roll and 2020 America East Academic Honor Roll. He has posted two goals and one assist for five points this season. Bright is a two-time America East Midfielder of the Year and two-time First Team All-Conference honoree. Last year, he was a first team All-American and a MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist.
Goldman has a 3.81 GPA as a Sociology major. He has been named to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll three times and is a member of the National College Athlete Honor Society. Goldman leads the team this season with eight goals and 17 points.
