'Cats fall on the road at Fordham, 79-61 on Tuesday night

BRONX, N.Y. -- The University of New Hampshire men's basketball team took a 79-61 road loss at Fordham on Tuesday night at Rose Hill Gym in non-conference play.
The Wildcats fall to 2-1 overall on the young season, while the Rams improve to 2-1 with the victory.
Freshman Ridvan Tutic (Novi Pazar, Serbia) registered a career-high 18 points (7-15 FG) and eight rebounds in the losing effort for UNH, while junior forward Clarence O. Daniels II (Brooklyn Park, Minn.) totaled 16 points (4-10 FG, 8-10 FT) with seven total rebounds.
Fordham held a 10-point lead (40-30) at halftime and never looked back.
Darius Quinsenberry totaled a team-high 17 points for the Rams in the victory, while Khalid Moore added 16 points for Fordham.
UNH owned a 30-24 advantage in points in the paint against the Rams.
The Wildcats return to action at home on Sunday, November 20 against Boston University. Game time from Lundholm Gymnasium on ESPN+ is 1 p.m.
