Wildcats Defeat Northeastern, 2-1, for Sixth Straight Win

DURHAM, N.H. – Junior forward Eli Goldman (Minneapolis, Minnesota) scored the game-winning goal as the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team defeated Northeastern, 2-1, on Tuesday night at Wildcat Stadium in non-conference action.
The Wildcats advance to 8-3-0 overall, while the Huskies fall to 3-7-3.
UNH has won six straight games and have outscored the opposition 14-3 during this streak.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- In the 24th minute (23:41), graduate student midfielder Jamie Davis (Cheshire, England) stole a pass from the Huskies and took it straight to the net blasting it to the lower left side of the goal to give the Wildcats a 1-0 lead.

- The Huskies tied the game in the 26th minute (25:43) when Federico Tellez scored off a penalty kick.
- Goldman fired a shot off a loose ball that was saved by Northeastern goalkeeper, Colby Hegarty. Goldman then knocked in the rebound to put the 'Cats on top with a 2-1 lead in the 57th minute (56:24).
