Guadarrama Joins 1,000 Point Club in 76-69 Loss to Stony Brook

Senior becomes 34th player in Wildcat history to reach that milestone
DURHAM, N.H. – Senior Nick Guadarrama (Newington, Conn.) led the UNH men's basketball team with 22 points and became the 34th member of the University's 1,000-point club, but the Wildcats were defeated 76-69 by Stony Brook at Lundholm Gym on Friday night.
Guadarrama shot 9-for-15 from the floor, including 2 of 4 from 3-point distance, and made 2 of 3 free throws to lead all scorers. He added six rebounds and two assists. The senior scored UNH's final five points and moved into 32nd place all time with 1,003 points, passing Pat Manor '93 (1,000 points) and Chandler Rhoads '13 (1,001).
Sophomore Nick Johnson (Bronx, N.Y.) tallied 13 points and four rebounds on 5-for-10 shooting, and sophomore Blondeau Tchoukuiegno (Montreal, Quebec) registered 10 points and eight rebounds in a team-leading 37 minutes for UNH (8-8, 3-4 America East).
Jahil Jenkins paced Stony Brook (13-7, 5-2 AE) with 20 points and seven assists, Anthony Roberts added 17 points and Tyler Stephenson-Moore chipped in with 16.
