UNH Student-Athletes Continue Tradition of Excellence in Spring 2021 Semester

DURHAM, N.H. – The grades for the University of New Hampshire spring 2021 semester are in, and UNH student-athletes continued their tradition of excellence in the classroom. Here are some of the highlights:
- All 532 UNH student-athletes combined for an aggregate GPA of 3.36
- 62 student-athletes (12%) recorded a perfect GPA of 4.0
- 290 student-athletes (55%) recorded a GPA of 3.50 or higher
- 419 student-athletes (79%) recorded a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- All 12 women's teams recorded a team GPA of 3.40 or higher
- 11 teams overall recorded a team GPA of 3.50 or higher
- Six women's teams recorded a team GPA of 3.60 or higher
- Women's skiing recorded the top team GPA of 3.85
- The top men's team GPA was 3.55 by men's soccer
"Our student-athletes continue to raise the bar in their pursuit of academic excellence," said Joanne Maldari, the Associate Athletic Director for Academic Support. "Even during this unprecedented year, with the academic, physical and emotional challenges that COVID presented, they continued to make their academics a priority. We are extremely proud of all our student-athletes and wish them a well-deserved break this summer."
