Jassem Koleilat Named America East Defensive Player of the Week

Koleilat went 2-0-0 on the week and did not allow a goal.
BOSTON – Junior goalkeeper Jassem Koleilat (Dubai, United Arab Emirates) of the No. 7 University of New Hampshire men's soccer team (15-0-2, 7-0-1 AE) has earned his first America East Weekly accolade as he was named the Defensive Player of the Week. The Wildcats went 2-0-0 on the week outscoring the opposition, 6-0, with a 5-0 win versus Stony Brook (Oct. 28) and a 1-0 win versus UMass Lowell (Nov. 1).
Koleilat made six saves on the week. He posted three saves versus Stony Brook during the first 77:25 of the game. Koleilat then recorded another three saves to post a shutout against UMass Lowell.
Koleilat now has a record of 15-0-2 this season. His goals against average of 0.410 ranks seconds nationally, while his eight shutouts are tied for fifth.
UNH has outscored the opposition 39-7 this season. The Wildcats won their third straight America East Regular Season Championship and are the No.1 seed in the America East Tournament.
UNH returns to action on Wednesday, Nov. 6 versus No. 4 seed Stony Brook (8-8-0, 4-4-0 AE) or No. 5 seed UMBC (8-7-2, 3-4-1 AE) in the America East Semifinals at 6 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium in Durham, N.H.
