'Cats take out Fisher, 72-23 at home on Sunday

DURHAM, N.H. -- The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team earned a 72-23 victory against Fisher College on Sunday afternoon at Lundholm Gymnasium in non-conference play.
The Wildcats improve to 2-2 overall on the season, while Fisher drops to 2-4 overall.
Sophomore guard Adara Groman (Hopkinton, Mass.) led the Wildcats offensively with 14 points on 5-of-6 shooting, while freshman guard Kenzie Matulonis (Raynham, Mass.) chipped in with 12 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and five steals in a solid all-around effort.
Brooke Kane (Derry, N.H.), Amanda Torres (Hudson, N.H.) and Talia Davis (Dedham, Mass.) all chipped in with eight points apiece in the victory.
The Wildcats went on a 21-0 run in the final 5:55 on the third quarter to put the game away for the Wildcats.
UNH owned a 40-15 lead at halftime.
The Wildcats owned a 36-10 edge in the paint and 52-28 advantage on the glass.
Alexia Mason notched a game-high 10 points for the Falcons in the losing effort.
UNH returns to action on Tuesday, November 23 against Siena College. Game time from Lundholm Gymasium is 1 p.m. on ESPN+.
