Sutherlin's Double-Double Leads 'Cats past UAlbany, 68-56

Head Coach Bill Herrion Moves Into Tie for UNH All-Time Wins Lead with 185th Victory
ALBANY, N.Y. – Sean Sutherlin (New Brighton, Minn.) recorded 18 points and 10 rebounds to lead the University of New Hampshire men's basketball team to Saturday night's 68-56 victory against the University at Albany at SEFCU Arena.
The victory was the 185th at UNH's helm for head coach Bill Herrion to tie the program benchmark established by Gerry Friel.
Marque Maultsby (Raleigh, N.C.) recorded 11 points, four assists, four rebounds and two blocks. Mark Carbone (Wethersfield, Conn.) also scored in double digits with 11 points.
UAlbany was led by Ahmad Clark, who scored 13 of his game-high 24 points at the foul line.
UNH won its second consecutive game to improve to 13-13 overall and 6-7 in America East. UAlbany is now 14-14, 7-6.

•Layups by Sutherlin and Chris Lester (Barrington, Ill.) give New Hampshire the first double-digit lead of the game, 39-29, at 16:19.
•UAlbany's 7-0 run sliced the deficit to 39-36 at 13:52.
•UNH responded with seven consecutive points. Carbone hit a 3-ball at 13:08, Maultsby followed with a jumper and Sutherlin made a layup to push the lead to 46-36 at 11:12.
•Guadarrama's layup off a feed from Maultsby pushed the margin to 11 points, 52-41, at 6:27.
•Maultsby's three-point play off a steal and pass from Guadarrama extended the advantage to 55-43 at 4:48.
•A 3-pointer by Sutherlin gave UNH its largest lead of the game, 15 points (60-45) at 4:11.
