
UNH Places League-Leading 60 Athletes on America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll

Nine Wildcats posted 4.0 GPAs, Men’s Soccer top % in America East.
BOSTON – Led by nine student-athletes who boasted a perfect 4.0 grade point average, the University of New Hampshire placed a league-leading 60 members on the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll (3.5+ GPA) and 107 total student-athletes on the AE Academic Honor Roll (3.0+ GPA), which was revealed Thursday.
The nine Wildcats posting a perfect 4.0 were:
From women's cross country, Bobbie Burgess (West Lafayette, Ind.), Caroline Mahoney (Bedford, N.H.), Jennika Mannesto (Concord, N.H.), Eleonora Olsmats (Djursholm, Sweden), and Shannon Stang (Medford, N.J.).
From women's soccer, Jill Conry (Bolton, Mass.), Halle Hamilton (Londonderry, N.H.), and Mia Neas (Old Saybrook, Conn.).
From women's volleyball, Mali Jereczek (Green Bay, Wis.).
The UNH men's soccer team posted a conference-best 77% of their roster on the America East honor roll, leading all other men's soccer programs, tied only with Hartford. The UNH Women's Soccer team led the Wildcats with 81 percent making the Honor Roll. This earned them the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award. Following them are both the Women's Cross Country team and the Men's Soccer team, tied with 77 percent of the team making the Honor Roll.
From UNH Women's Soccer team, Mia Neas was named to the 2018 United Soccer Coaches Women's Scholar All-East Region team and the Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-District team. She was selected to both teams for the second year in a row, achieving a 4.0 grade point average for the fall semester and a cumulative grade point average of 3.88. From Volleyball, senior Mali Jereczek also recorded a 4.0 GPA in the fall semester and was also named to the Google Cloud CoSIDA Academic All-District team.
