DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's ice hockey team hosts a two-game weekend series with the University of Vermont Catamounts this Friday, November 8 and Saturday, November 9.
Saturday's contest will be the third annual Stick it to Stigma game to raise awareness and support for mental health. Free tickets to the game are provided by the Connor's Climb and can be reserved in advance on their website.

THIÉRUS NAMED ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
For the second time this season, the Wildcats had a Rookie of the Week award winner by way of Tamara Thiérus, tallying her first career goal on Friday and an assist on Sunday. Thiérus was also named the runner up to the Hockey East Rookie of the Month honors given out for September and October.

LAST TIME OUT
- UNH split the weekend against #7 Boston College and Holy Cross, falling to the Eagles 5-2 on Friday but defeating the Crusaders 3-0 on Sunday.
- Friday's goals were tallied by senior Nicole Dunbar (Coto de Caza, Calif.) and freshman Tamara Thiérus (Saint Jérôme, Quebec). It was Thiérus' first career goal.
- Sunday the Wildcats blanked the Crusaders with goals from Dunbar, Meghara McManus (Milton, Mass.) and Taylor Wenczkowski (Rochester, N.H.) while Ava Boutilier (Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island) stopped all 15 Holy Cross shots on net for her third shutout of the season.

- The Catamounts (Burlington, Vt.) come into the weekend with only one loss on the season at 4-1-4. Their one loss came in conference play to Boston College.
- UNH is 33-13-6 all-time when facing Vermont.
- After a 3-0 deficit, the Wildcats rallied back to tie the first meeting of the season between the two teams, 3-3.
- Vermont has the slight advantage in the last five meetings, 2-1-2.
