DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire volleyball team will hold its annual Dig Pink event as a fundraiser for the Side-Out Foundation when the Wildcats play host to Binghamton University on Oct. 11. Match time at Lundholm Gym is 7 p.m.

Fans have multiple ways to support the Side-Out Foundation's Dig Pink initiative. There will be a raffle for a UNH-specific 2019 Dig Pink Rally shirt with the option of the winner having the item signed by the UNH volleyball team. Those in attendance can also make a donation by pledging a specific amount of money for each dig by the Wildcats in the match vs. Binghamton.

Anyone can support UNH's Dig Pink campaign by making an online donation to the Wildcats' specific web page by clicking here.

People are encouraged to wear pink to support the event, and a limited number of pink pom poms will be given away. Tickets, which start as low as $3, can be purchased  by calling (603) 862-4000 or going online here.

The Side-Out Foundation supports innovative research that slows the progression of stage IV breast cancer and improves the way all cancers are treated. Stage IV is the most advanced form of the disease and the least-funded area of research.

Funds raised through Side-Out go directly to its own cutting-edge clinical trial, the Side-Out Protocol, conducted at renowned medical institutions.

UNH is part of a volleyball community that has the power to change lives. In the history of Dig Pink, volleyball teams from across the nation have raised more than $14 million for Side-Out's stage IV breast cancer research.
