BANGOR, Maine - Senior forward Olivia Healy (Reading, Mass.) scored 15 points and senior center Carlie Pogue (Cincinnati, Ohio) had 10 to lead the University of New Hampshire in a 77-46 loss to the University of Maine on Thursday night at Cross Insurance Center.
UNH is now 15-10 overall and is even in America East play at 6-6. The Wildcats play at UMBC on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Maine improved to 17-8 overall and 10-2 with its eighth straight win. The Black Bears took over sole possession of first place in the league Wednesday night when Albany lost at Vermont. Albany is 9-3.
Freshman guard Amanda Torres (Hudson, N.H.) scored a season-high eight points and had a season-high five assists for the Wildcats.
NEXT UP
The Wildcats have only four regular season games remaining, two on the road and two at home.
They play at UMBC on Sunday at 1 p.m.
The Wildcats return to Lundholm Gymnasium to play Hartford on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in an Education Day game and play Stony Brook at home on Saturday, Feb. 17 for Senior Day.
UNH closes out the regular season with a game at UMass Lowell on Thursday, Feb. 22 at 7 p.m.

HIGHLIGHTS
The Wildcats scored their points in bunches.
Healy scored all eight of UNH's points in the first period. Pogue scored nine of her points in the third period.
Healy also led UNH in rebounding with seven and Pogue had five.
Torres had her previous high of seven points in the first game of the season series against Maine.
Healy and Torres hit all five of UNH's three-pointers. Healy was three-for-six in treys. The three treys matched her season and career highs.
Torres was two-for-four from behind the arc. She had taken five three-pointers for the season coming into the game and had not made one.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Black Bears scored the first nine points of the game and owned an 18-8 lead at the end of the first period.
They pushed the lead as high as 19 points in the second period and were on top 37-21 at the half.
Each team took 29 shots in the first half. UNH made eight of its shots (27.6 percent) and Maine made 16 of its shots (55.2 percent).
Maine had a 19-15 edge in the third period and pulled away with a 21-10 fourth period.
